To ACTER, social welfare is more than funding and donating. It is a contribution to the environment and the society from the corporate within, and a combination of our engineering technique, service and goodwill. With the good faith, ACTER has been working together with the Formosa Charity Group for a voluntary project, Let Love Rise with Tiles and Bricks, for four consecutive years, as an embodiment of our profession and perseverance in practicing corporate social responsibility.

Our client for the event is a physically challenged person in Zhudong Township, Hsinchu. Undergone home burnt, the client is helpless and suffers a relapse. To encourage the client in starting afresh, volunteers from ACTER, ACTER’s subcontractors and the Formosa Charity Group gather to rebuild home for the client for two successive weekends.A concerted effort is made during the rebuilding, from unloading, cutting, welding materials to cement grouting, and the final installation of furniture and electrical appliances. Upon the completion of the new home, participants are overwhelmed by a “home-made” joy.

ACTER, the reconstruction of house is not only a home re-built, but also a hope re-built for our clients!
