— To love is to shoulder the needs of others.

This year, we are entrusted by Social Affairs Bureau with a family of a mother and her two adult sons all holding identifications of intellectual and development disability, at Shitan Township, Miaoli County. Their home was out of repair, leaked badly and littered with old wires and miscellanies. Suffice to say living condition of the household was in a worrying status.

On the day of the event, ACTER team arrived at Shitan Township in the early morning. Starting from cleaning and dismantling the partition walls, we gradually restored the roof and renewed the wires of the house. We worked together in the sun and sweated to rebuild the underprivileged family a safe shelter.

For five consecutive years, ACTER has participated in the charitable event- Let Love Rise with Tiles and Bricks. Our dedication to social responsibilities with our engineering professions will be carried on to shoulder more social issues and make greater corporate influence.
