In this December, the second year, Acter sponsored the “Shopping with loneliness elderly” activity that held by Hondao Senior Citizen’s Welfare Foundation.

We offered each elderly 1,000 shopping fee and had shuttle pick-up service to take them to the shopping mall. Around 40 of Acter’s volunteers joined to accompany the 30 elderly for grocery shopping. Being there for them when they needed assistance while with a simple friendly chat, the shopping activity had a happy ending.

Acter will keep gathering people’s strength to support the lonely or socially isolated elderly people in our community to achieve Acter’s CSR core value!
