Upholding the spirit of honesty and integrity, Acter Co., Ltd. has continuously brought positive influences to the society using its core engineering competency. By inviting internal staffs, customers and subcontractors to form “Acter’s Volunteer Group”, the Company has managed to go in-depth into the community with mobility and create networks with local residents. The purposes thereof are not only to facilitate community development, but also to create the “common good” and “co-prosperity” based cooperating model with the society.

In September this year, we launched the third “One Brick and One Tile, Let It Fly” public welfare activity. We arrived in Zhuqi, Chiayi to assist a visually impaired friend who live alone to build a house, hoping that we have poured a warm strength into the society. From unloading to steel bar cutting, welding, cement slurry grouting, assembling cabinets, renovating and putting on the signboard, we have successfully completed the project on time with everyone’s efforts. The person has already moved in this brand new home and is now trying the best to have a new life.

For Acter, it is very meaningful for us to, without our engineering expertise and skills, assist people of the minority group by offering them a place to shelter, settle their life and return to a normal life. Besides, this also proves that our expertise in engineering serves not only front-end customers, but also communities living in corners of the country. This is surely a good way to embody corporate citizens’ spirit of “common good”!
