On a consolidated basis, revenues for April 2019 were NTD 1,171,633 thousand, an increase of 11.7 percent from March 2019 and a decrease of 2.1 percent over April 2018. Acter also announced its latest first quarter financial report of this year. According to the first quarter financial report, Revenues totaled NTD 2,757,745 thousand, a decrease of 9 percent compared to the same period in 2018; Gross Profit totaled NTD 587,254 thousand, an increase of 2.4 percent compared to the same period in 2018; Gross profit Ratio for first quarter totaled 21%, an increase of 2.0 percent compared to the same period in 2018; Profit after income tax totaled 294,345 thousand, an increase of 25 percent compared to the same period in 2018; Profit after income tax-attributable to owners of parent totaled 233,695 thousand, an increase of 17.7 percent compared to the same period in 2018. There is a slightly decline in revenues for the first quarter. But the high gross profit ratio of small scale projects, equipment expanding projects and exchange rate changes conduct a positive growth of profit.

Taiwanese company coming back to Taiwan and 5G industry also bring business for Acter. Acter got new projects from Delta Co. and Senao Networks Co. recently. Although under the USA- China trade war, Acter still has many potential opportunities in Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

In China Area, clients concern about the USA- China trade war and have some doubts about the huge scale of capital expenditure. For the long term, China’s semiconductor industry has a optimistic trend of new factory needs. According to relative information, there are twenty five semiconductor factories under constructing or planning. Although China area still effected by uncertainties for the second quarter, Acter is optimistic about the following business.
